Induction Cooktop (with Cooking Element LED Bars)
Our specially designed induction cooktops offer exceptional power, precision, and responsiveness for fast, efficient heating and even cooking. Induction technology directly heats your cookware—and only your cookware—for greater energy efficiency, safer usage, and easier cleanup than gas or electric cooktops. Our red LED indicator bars display the power level of each element for easy monitoring.
Safer Operation and Easy Cleanup
Because induction uses electromagnetic energy to heat only your induction-compatible cookware, and not the cooktop itself, fire hazards and risk of burns are reduced for a safer experience. And since the cooktop remains cool, drips and splatters won’t burn onto the surface, allowing for easier cleanup.
5 Induction Elements
5 induction cooktop elements of varying sizes and power levels provide all the power and precision you need.
UltraHeat 5.0kW Dual Element
With 5,000 watts of power, our UltraHeat dual element is powerful enough to rapidly boil water and flexible enough to turn down to a true simmer. Plus, with two elements in one, you can easily adapt the size of the element to accommodate your different-sized cookware.
Bridge Element
Conveniently expand your cooking area by combining the two left elements into one continuous cooking zone, allowing you to evenly heat longer pans, griddles, and oblong cookware.
Cooking Element LED Bar
Each cooking element features a red LED bar that displays its current power level—allowing you to quickly and easily monitor the cooktop.
Automatic Cookware Detection
Using sensors beneath the surface, activated cooking elements only operate when compatible cookware of the appropriate size is detected within the cooking zone. If cookware is not added, or is removed from an active element, the element will deactivate after one minute.
Cookware Compatibility Indicator
How well your cookware heats on an induction element depends on several factors, such as the cookware’s size, material, and shape of its base. Our cooktop is equipped with a built-in Cookware Compatibility Indicator, which rates cookware and element compatibility on a scale from 0 to 10, to help you optimize the power output and performance of each element and maximize energy efficiency.
Boost Mode (6 Minutes)
Need extra cooking power? Activate Boost mode to maximize an element’s power output for up to 6 minutes. Ideal for quickly boiling large pots of water or heating large quantities of food.
Simmer Key
Thanks to a dedicated Simmer key on the control panel, you can quickly and easily achieve the perfect simmer with just a tap. Great for sauces, stews and more.
Stylish Modern Design
Enjoy the professional look and feel of a ceramic induction cooktop that elevates any kitchen. Featuring SmoothTouch Glass Controls and smooth surface that easily wipes clean, this cooktop delivers seamless, built-in style and premium form and function to your countertop.
Backlit SmoothTouch Glass Controls
The backlit LED SmoothTouch glass controls deliver sleek style, high-definition-visibility and easy operation, with just a touch of your finger. The controls appear hidden when off, for a minimalistic, low-profile look. Plus, the smooth surface easily wipes clean for a design that is as practical as it is stylish.
Hood and OTR Microwave Sync
Sync your cooktop and smart LG hood or over-the-range microwave via the ThinQ app to automatically activate the fan and light when the cooktop burners are in use, for a seamless cooking experience.
Kitchen Timer
Conveniently track and manage meal preparation with the help of the built-in timer. The easy-to-use timer and display ensure quick visibility to the remaining cook time, while the convenient alarm lets you know when the timer is done.
Control Lock
Control Lock is a safety feature that allows you to disable most control panel functions, preventing accidental activation of the cooktop and providing a worry-free experience.
