The Marine 6 features a tweeter and a polypropylene bass/midrange driver – delivering pristine sound in the most severe of environments. The speaker is capable of surviving the extremes of temperature, salt spray and hosing down that occurs in a marine environment. The metal grille and fixings are stainless steel. The driver chassis uses a non-corroding rigid polymer and the tweeter dome has a rear support to prevent permanent deformation when hosed down. This ruggedness means that Marine 6 is also capable of providing great sound in a variety of other unforgiving circumstances, especially where a smaller footprint is required.
